Community Employment Coordinator/Client Services Manager

 SIGN-ON BONUS $5000

Located in Michigan’s beautiful Upper Peninsula. Copper Country Mental Health, a four-county community mental health center, is recruiting a full-time Community Employment Coordinator/Client Services Manager.

This position works with individuals with severe mental illness and/or intellectual/development disabilities. Duties will include securing and maintaining community employment, which will consist of; developing and maintaining employment relationships within the community and providing individual support to ensure success in employment programs. This position will also provide coordination and management of service delivery.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a human services field such as Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Vocational Rehabilitation from an accredited program
• One year of experience in treating or working with people with mental illness and/or intellectual/developmental disabilities;
• Strong interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work as a team member;
• Valid Michigan driver’s license.

DESIREABLE QUALIFICATION:

• Michigan Licensure as a Bachelor’s or Master’s Social Worker.
• Qualifications of a Child Mental Health Professional.
