Copper Country Mental Health Services is hiring a supervisor to manage the daily operations of the Acute Services Department.

Duties include supervising staff for assessment, crisis intervention, admission and discharge planning for hospital admissions for people experiencing a mental health emergency; making independent clinical decisions; and collaborating with local hospitals, law enforcement agencies, the court system and other service providers. This position is based in Houghton, MI and does not include on-call responsibilities.
Must be licensed in Michigan as a Master’s Social Worker, Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Psychologist and have significant clinical and supervisory experience. At least one year of experience providing initial evaluations and acute services is also required. Limited Licensed Master’s professionals. Licensed Bachelor’s Social Worker or a Registered Nurse may be considered.
