Copper Country Mental Health Services, a four county community mental health center, is accepting applications for a part-time (up to 20 hours/week) Youth Peer Support Specialist (YPSS). The job duties include providing support for youth with serious emotional disturbances who are receiving services in the behavioral health system. The YPSS acts as a key member of the treatment team by working with youth one on one or in a group and supporting them in achieving goals through shared activities and interventions. YPSS must be willing to self-identify as a person who received mental health services as a youth.

Applicants must be ages 18 through 26; have a Michigan driver’s license; and pass all background checks.
