Copper Country Mental Health, a four-county community mental health center, is recruiting an Outpatient Program Director.

The Outpatient Program Director is responsible for the overall programmatic, clinical, and fiscal concerns of the Outpatient Department under the direction of the Associate Director. The Outpatient Program Director is responsible for (1) ensuring that outpatient programs are adequately and appropriately staffed and services are delivered in accordance with all applicable plans, policies and procedures; and (2) providing direct supervision to the Outpatient Clinicians, Peer Support Specialist(s), Parent Support Specialist, Youth Peer Support Specialist(s), Autism Manager and the Acute Services Manager.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

– Master’s degree in social work, psychology or counseling from an accredited university
– Currently licensed, or on track to be licensed in the near future, as a social worker,
psychologist or counselor in Michigan
– 2 years of experience in the provision of direct services in an outpatient setting

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

– Experience working in a community-based mental health services system
– Supervisory experience
