POSITION TITLE: Applied Behavioral Analysis Aide – Relief/Part-time
APPLICATION PERIOD: 10/09/2026-10/16/2026
DEPARTMENT: Outpatient/Autism Department
LOCATION: Based in Houghton – services could be provided in all 4 counties
SALARY: $19.58/hour (Union position)
DUTIES:
Staff in this position will carry out interventions with children and young adults with Autism. Staff will carry out interventions that are directed toward developing functional communication, independent self-care tasks, receptive language, expressive language, play behaviors, social skills, imitation, and/or any additional behaviors that will enable the child or young adult to more readily integrate with typically developing peers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or G.E.D.
18 years of age or older
Free of communicable tuberculosis
Valid Michigan Driver’s License
Completion of training requirements
Ability to interact with clients and implement training/treatment plans
Free of any felony and/or misdemeanor convictions related to honesty, assault, violence, character, moral turpitude, or child abuse/neglect
Ability to work within the Copper Country Community Mental Health service area, including Baraga, Houghton, Keweenaw, and Ontonagon Counties, as needed
DESIREABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working with children and young adults with Autism
