2017 Recovery Lecture Series - Monday, September 25, 2017
Our speaker this year is Colleen Jokinen, R.N., who will share her recovery story, "Embracing Kindness," about 45 year of life with bipolar depression. Colleen is a former director of Marquette's Brantley Drop In Center, a Certified Peer Support Specialist, and a NAMI In Our Own Voice presenter. She will tell us her story about how she found her way through self-kindness and community support.
The lecture will be at the Magnuson Inn Franklin Square 7th Floor at 1 pm Monday, September 25. Another lecture will take place the same day at the Institute starting at 7 pm.
